Shift Supervisor - Overnight

About The Position

A Shift Supervisor is a key leader who supports the CVS Store Management team in driving store execution and performance while building consumer loyalty through excellent customer service. When no manager or Operations Supervisor is onsite, the Shift Supervisor leads store staff, keeps operations running smoothly, and ensures all opening and closing procedures are completed. The role supervises store crew activities, communicates with management and crew, assists customers, handles customer relations issues in accordance with company policy, and maintains customer and patient confidentiality. It also includes pricing and stocking merchandise, executing promotional and seasonal displays and inventory, maintaining off-shelf merchandise, and resetting departments according to planograms.

Requirements

Deductive reasoning ability, analytical skills, and computer skills.
Advanced communication and supervision skills.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including some early morning, overnight, and weekend shifts.
Ability to work overtime as needed and respond to urgent store issues.

Nice To Haves

Experience as a retail supervisor.
High school diploma or equivalent (preferred but not required).

Responsibilities

Work effectively with store management and store crews.
Supervise the store crew by assigning, directing, and following up on activities.
Communicate information effectively to and from store management and crews.
Assist customers with questions, problems, and complaints.
Promote CVS’s customer service culture by greeting customers, offering help, and thanking them.
Handle customer relations issues in accordance with company policy and promote a positive shopping experience.
Maintain customer and patient confidentiality.
Price merchandise and stock shelves.
Execute displays, signage, and inventory for weekly, promotional, and seasonal merchandise.
Execute and maintain off-shelf merchandise displays.
Reset departments following planograms.
Lead store staff when no manager or Operations Supervisor is onsite and ensure store operations and opening and closing procedures are completed.
