SHIFT SUPERVISOR (FULL TIME)
About The Position
The Shift Supervisor directs associates’ activities during a specific shift and ensures assigned job expectations are completed while maintaining company policies and procedures. The supervisor provides training, creates work schedules, evaluates employee performance, and prepares production or sales reports for management. The role also helps ensure the unit meets expectations for quality, productivity, and safety; serves as a contact for associate complaints or time-off requests; and mentors employees while encouraging goal-setting and advancement. This is a full-time position with a schedule of Sunday from 10:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Monday through Thursday from 1:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Further schedule details are provided during the interview. The position is located at Canteen in New Berlin, Wisconsin, and pays $26.00 per hour.
Requirements
- Previous supervisory experience required.
Responsibilities
- Direct associates’ activities during the assigned shift and ensure assigned job expectations are completed while maintaining policies and procedures.
- Provide training and create work schedules.
- Evaluate workers’ performance, reward high performers, and discipline associates who do not meet reasonable performance standards.
- Prepare production or sales reports for management.
- Ensure the unit meets expectations for quality, productivity, and safety.
- Serve as the contact person for associates with complaints or time-off requests.
- Mentor and develop employees, encouraging associates to set goals and pursue advancement.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
