About The Position

Morrison Healthcare is hiring a full-time Shift Supervisor at Premier Health in Dayton, Ohio. The Shift Supervisor directs associates’ activities during an assigned shift and oversees completion of job expectations while maintaining policies and procedures. The position is scheduled from 3:30 p.m. to 12:00 a.m.; days may vary, with weekends and holidays on call. The fixed pay rate is $20.00 per hour. The role requires three years of previous leadership experience; a valid ServSafe certification is preferred. An employee meal plan is offered. Requirements

Three years of previous leadership experience.

Responsibilities

Direct associates’ activities during a specific shift and oversee completion of assigned job expectations while maintaining policy and procedure.
Provide training and create work schedules.
Evaluate worker performance, reward high performers, and discipline employees who fail to meet reasonable work-performance standards.
Prepare production or sales reports for management.
Ensure the unit meets expectations for quality, productivity, and safety.
Act as the contact person for employees with complaints or requests for time off.
May mentor and develop employees and encourage them to set goals and pursue advancement within the organization.
Perform other duties as assigned.
