About The Position

Direct the activities of associates during a specific shift and oversee completion of assigned job expectations while maintaining policy and procedure. The position includes training associates, preparing work schedules, assessing performance, and supporting the unit’s quality, productivity, and safety expectations. The supervisor may mentor employees and encourage advancement within the organization. This is a full-time role at the Tesla Factory in Fremont, California. The schedule is Wednesday through Sunday or Friday through Tuesday; hours may vary. A valid Food Handler's card is required. The fixed pay rate is $25.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

Provide training and create work schedules.
Evaluate workers’ performance, reward high performers, and discipline employees who fail to meet reasonable work-performance standards.
Prepare production or sales reports for management and ensure the unit meets expectations for quality, productivity, and safety.
Act as the contact person for employees with complaints or requests for time off.
Mentor and develop employees and encourage them to set goals and strive for advancement within the organization.
Perform other duties as assigned.
