About The Position

As a Shift Supervisor at Starbucks, you will lead with craft and care to make the coffeehouse a warm and welcoming space for the community. You will help create meaningful customer moments while supporting the preparation of beverages and food to Starbucks standards. The role involves directing and coordinating the work of other employees and maintaining store operating standards, including quality, cash handling, and safety and security.

Requirements

At least six months of experience in a position involving constant interaction with customers and fulfillment of their requests.
At least six months of experience delegating tasks to other employees and/or coordinating the tasks of two or more employees.
Ability to direct the work of others.
Ability to learn quickly.
Effective oral communication skills.
Knowledge of the retail environment.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Ability to work as part of a team.
Ability to build relationships.
Ability to meet store operating policies and standards, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Available to work flexible hours, which may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
Regular and consistent attendance and punctuality, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

Prepare and coach the preparation of food and beverages according to standard recipes or customer customizations.
Direct, delegate, and coordinate the work of other employees.
Meet store operating policies and standards for product quality, cash handling, safety, and security.
Provide customer service by interacting with customers and fulfilling their requests.
Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality.
