About The Position
Villa Restaurant Group is opening a new Starbucks at JFK Airport Terminal 6 and is looking for shift supervisors. These individuals will be responsible for leading a team, ensuring excellent guest service, and maintaining smooth operations. The role involves coaching baristas, handling guest concerns, and assisting with opening/closing duties, cash handling, stocking, and maintaining cleanliness.
Requirements
- Experience leading a team in food service, coffee, retail, or hospitality
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- A hands-on approach and the ability to stay organized under pressure
- Availability for early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
Responsibilities
- Lead the team during your shift and keep service on track
- Coach baristas on drink quality, customer service, and daily routines
- Handle guest concerns and jump in when things get busy
- Help with opening or closing tasks, cash handling, stocking, and cleanliness
