About The Position

The Shift Supervisor directs associates’ activities during a specific shift and ensures assigned job expectations are completed while company policies and procedures are maintained. The position provides training, creates work schedules, evaluates associate performance, and supports quality, productivity, and safety expectations. The supervisor also prepares production or sales reports for management, responds to associate complaints and time-off requests, and mentors employees to encourage goal-setting and advancement. Other duties may be assigned.

This is a full-time position at Canteen in New Berlin, Wisconsin. The stated schedule is Sunday, 10:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., and Monday through Thursday, 1:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. The fixed pay rate is $26.00 per hour.

Requirements

• Previous supervisory experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Direct associates’ activities during an assigned shift and ensure job expectations are completed while policies and procedures are maintained.
• Provide training and create work schedules.
• Evaluate workers’ performance, reward high performers, and discipline associates who do not meet reasonable performance standards.
• Prepare production or sales reports for management.
• Ensure the unit meets expectations for quality, productivity, and safety.
• Serve as a contact person for associates with complaints or time-off requests.
• Mentor and develop employees, encouraging them to set goals and pursue advancement within the organization.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
