About The Position

Hamra Enterprises is seeking a Shift Supervisor to help delight guests and support restaurant operations. Candidates with the right attitude, personality, and desire to serve guests will be trained and set up for success. The role requires full availability across days, nights, weekends, and holidays. Employees may be assigned duties beyond those listed, and duties may change based on the organization’s needs. The position involves working throughout the restaurant, including dining, preparation, restroom, and dumpster areas, and exposure to hot and cold environments.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Full work availability for days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• At least 1 year of restaurant management experience.
• Exposure to financial accountability.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
• Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
• Must satisfy a background check.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Ability to stand for up to 12 hours and move throughout the restaurant.
• Ability to use hands and fingers to handle or operate equipment and prepare, inspect, place, or position items.
• Ability to occasionally use a step ladder to reach products on upper shelves.
• Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl to clean and retrieve products.
• Ability to read monitors, menus, and learning systems.
• Ability to frequently move products, dishes, and boxes weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work with constant exposure to low temperatures in walk-in freezers and coolers and high heat in ovens.

Responsibilities

• Help delight restaurant guests.
• Communicate with fellow employees and guests and exchange accurate information.
• Maintain restaurant cleanliness, including under tables and in preparation areas.
• Retrieve and move products, dishes, and boxes.
• Use a register, slicer, knives, scissors, other machinery, and a computer as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned based on the organization’s changing needs.
