About The Position

As a Shift Supervisor, you will lead with craft and heart to make the coffeehouse a welcoming space for the community. You will prepare and coach the preparation of food and beverages to standard recipes or customized to customer requests, and help direct and coordinate the work of other employees. The role requires meeting store operating policies and standards for product quality, cash handling, and safety and security.

Requirements

Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Be available to work flexible hours, which may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
Meet store operating policies and standards, with or without reasonable accommodations.
At least six months of experience in a position requiring constant interaction with and fulfillment of customer requests.
At least six months of experience delegating tasks to other employees and/or coordinating the tasks of two or more employees.
Ability to direct the work of others.
Ability to learn quickly.
Effective oral communication skills.
Knowledge of the retail environment.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Ability to work as part of a team.
Ability to build relationships.

Responsibilities

Prepare and coach the preparation of food and beverages to standard recipes or customize them for customers, including requested changes to temperature, ingredient quantities, or substitutions.
Direct and delegate the work of other employees and coordinate the tasks of two or more employees.
Meet store operating policies and standards for quality beverages and food products, cash handling, and store safety and security.
Provide customer service by interacting with customers and fulfilling their requests.
