About The Position

The Store Shift Supervisor is responsible for store operations during an assigned shift and assists store management in ensuring efficient operation. Duties include sales, merchandising, pricing, display maintenance, and related paperwork. The role also supports store personnel, customer service, merchandise handling, administrative tasks, and compliance with company and store policies.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
At least one year of retail experience.
Reliable transportation.
Ability to pass pre-screenings such as background or drug screenings.
Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds, with or without assistance.

Responsibilities

Assist with supervising store personnel.
Arrange store windows, displays, and promotional activities.
Sell merchandise, provide customer service, and resolve customer complaints by implementing HGI policy.
Maintain store premises and merchandise in a clean, safe, and organized fashion.
Ensure required store supplies are on hand.
Follow required safety and security procedures.
Comply with company and store policies and procedures, including opening and closing tasks, pricing, markdowns, and timely and accurate completion of paperwork.
Receive and verify merchandise arriving from the warehouse and vendors.
Ring sales correctly on the cash register; handle money, reconcile cash, and make store deposits according to company policy.
Perform administrative and clerical duties related to store operations.
Receive donations and transport them to the designated area.
Participate in required training.
Perform other duties as assigned.
