About The Position

As a Shift Supervisor, you lead with craft and heart to make the coffeehouse a warm and welcoming space for the community. You help create meaningful customer moments, prepare and coach the preparation of food and beverages to standard recipes or customized customer requests, and support store operations in accordance with company policies and standards.

Requirements

Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Be available to work flexible hours that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
Meet store operating policies and standards, including those for quality beverages and food products, cash handling, and store safety and security, with or without reasonable accommodations.
At least six months of experience in a position requiring constant interaction with customers and fulfillment of their requests.
At least six months of experience delegating tasks to other employees and/or coordinating the tasks of two or more employees.
Ability to direct the work of others.
Ability to learn quickly.
Effective oral communication skills.
Knowledge of the retail environment.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Ability to work as part of a team.
Ability to build relationships.

Responsibilities

Direct and delegate the work of other employees and coordinate tasks among employees.
Prepare and coach the preparation of food and beverages to standard recipes, including customer-requested changes to temperature, ingredient quantities, or substitutions.
Fulfill customer requests and help create a welcoming coffeehouse experience.
Meet store operating policies and standards for product quality, cash handling, and store safety and security.
