About The Position

As a Shift Supervisor, you lead with craft and heart to make the coffeehouse a warm and welcoming space for the community. You help create meaningful customer moments and support the preparation of beverages and food to Starbucks standards, including customized orders. The role includes directing and coordinating the work of other employees while meeting store operating policies and standards.

Requirements

Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Be available to work flexible hours that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
Meet store operating policies and standards, including quality, cash handling, and safety and security requirements, with or without reasonable accommodations.
Have at least six months of experience in a position requiring constant interaction with customers and fulfillment of customer requests.
Have at least six months of experience delegating tasks to other employees and/or coordinating the tasks of two or more employees.
Ability to direct the work of others.
Ability to learn quickly.
Effective oral communication skills.
Knowledge of the retail environment.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Ability to work as part of a team.
Ability to build relationships.

Responsibilities

Direct and coordinate the work of other employees.
Prepare and coach the preparation of food and beverages to standard recipes or customized for customers.
Fulfill customer requests, including recipe changes such as temperature, ingredient quantities, or ingredient substitutions.
Meet store operating policies and standards for product quality, cash handling, and store safety and security.
