Shift Supervisor - Hourly (Part Time)
About The Position
Morrison Healthcare is hiring a part-time Shift Supervisor at Palm Bay Hospital in Palm Bay, Florida. The role directs associates’ activities during an assigned shift and ensures that assigned work expectations are completed while policies and procedures are maintained. The schedule includes shifts from 5:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and 11:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.; days may vary, and weekends are required. The stated pay range is $17.00 to $19.00 per hour. One year of customer service experience is required. Requirements
- One year of customer service experience.
- Ability to perform the essential functions of the position satisfactorily, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Responsibilities
- Direct associates’ activities during an assigned shift and oversee completion of assigned job expectations while maintaining policy and procedure.
- Provide training and create work schedules.
- Evaluate workers’ performance, reward high performers, and discipline employees who fail to meet reasonable work standards.
- Prepare production or sales reports for management.
- Ensure the unit meets expectations for quality, productivity, and safety.
- Serve as the contact person for employees’ complaints or requests for time off.
- Mentor and develop employees and encourage them to set goals and pursue advancement within the organization.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
