Shift Supervisor Level 2
About The Position
The Shift Supervisor Level 2 is responsible for providing prompt and excellent customer service, ensuring customer satisfaction, and handling inquiries and issues. This role requires the ability to perform all CSR and Supervisor 1 Level duties, work weekends, and demonstrate responsibility when the Site Manager is off-site. The supervisor enforces safety policies, understands chemical room equipment functions, and assists with equipment repairs. They are also responsible for reporting to work on time and adhering to the dress code. Key duties include customer interaction (60%), site upkeep (30%), opening/closing procedures (5%), and basic troubleshooting (5%).
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED preferred.
- Excellent communication skills including active listening.
- Excellent sales and customer service skills.
- Ability to anticipate customer needs.
- Ability to recommend different wash memberships to customers.
- Ability to work as a team.
- Proficient computer skills with the ability to learn a point of sales system.
- Strong work ethic and professional attitude.
- Ability to perform essential duties and physical functions.
- Ability to work in the conditions described (damp, humid, outdoor variable weather).
- Ability to lift and/or move objects up to 25lbs on a regular basis and occasionally up to 50lbs.
- Must be able to work in damp and humid conditions.
- Must be able to work in outdoor variable weather conditions.
- Must adhere to OSHA safety guidelines and protocols.
- Required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (hearing, eye, foot, hand protection).
Nice To Haves
- Customer service and some Car Wash experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provides prompt excellent customer service in a courteous, friendly and attentive manner.
- Greets customers, answers questions, and explains wash options.
- Ensures customers are satisfied and reports any inquiries, incidents, and issues in a timely manner.
- Completes all CSR and Supervisor 1 Level job duties.
- Works weekends.
- Demonstrates responsibility while Site Manager is off site.
- Enforces all safety policies.
- Understands the functions of all chemical room equipment.
- Assists Site Manager with tunnel and chemical room equipment repairs.
- Cleans out solenoid.
- Reports to work on time and follows the dress and appearance code.
