About The Position

The Shift Leader assists the Assistant Manager and General Manager with management activities and duties, ensuring that restaurant activities support the business plan. The Shift Leader ensures Team Members perform their responsibilities and meet expectations. Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Must be willing to work flexible hours, including opening and closing shifts.
Must have reliable transportation and a method of communication with the restaurant, such as a phone or email.

Responsibilities

Ensure hospitality is outstanding by anticipating and exceeding guest needs and handling requests promptly and positively.
Monitor all aspects of restaurant operations to anticipate problems and address problem areas promptly.
Enforce and maintain quality, service, and cleanliness standards.
Monitor and maintain appropriate staffing levels and labor costs.
Create a friendly atmosphere for Team Members and guests.
Train, direct, and supervise Team Members.
Support efforts to maximize sales and profits and minimize controllable costs.
Plan, organize, and implement operational routines and activities during the shift.
Maintain cooperative and harmonious working relationships with management and fellow Team Members.
Ensure sanitation, safety, and security policies and procedures are observed and enforced.
Meet company standards for personal appearance and display professionalism.
Follow HR, sanitation, safety, and security policies and procedures to provide a safe and compliant environment.
Perform other tasks as directed by management.
