About The Position

The Shift Manager oversees the daily operations of the establishment during assigned shifts, ensuring exceptional service and a positive experience for guests and team members. The role coordinates front- and back-of-house activities, supports a safe and welcoming environment, trains team members, manages inventory, resolves guest concerns, and monitors performance to help optimize efficiency and profitability. The position is at IHOP Express at Treasure Valley Casino in Davis, Oklahoma. It is full-time, with a stated hourly pay range of $14.50–$16.50. The role requires flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays. The work involves extended periods of standing and walking in a high-volume environment, lifting and carrying objects up to 50 pounds, moderate to high noise levels, and exposure to a smoky environment.

Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age.
Must be able to obtain a Gaming license.
Must be able to obtain an ABLE license.
At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality, beverage, or food service industry.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to stand, walk, and work in a high-volume environment for extended periods.
Ability to lift and carry moderate to heavy objects up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate staff activities during assigned shifts, including front-of-house and back-of-house operations.
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards to maintain a safe and welcoming environment.
Train and mentor team members to uphold service standards and deliver outstanding guest experiences.
Manage inventory by ordering and receiving supplies and monitoring stock levels.
Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints professionally and promptly, working to resolve issues to the satisfaction of all parties.
Monitor performance metrics, including sales and labor costs, and implement strategies to optimize efficiency and profitability.
Maintain a professional appearance by adhering to the establishment’s dress code standards.
