About The Position

The Shift Manager - Security is responsible for ensuring consistent high-quality service to all team members and guests, setting and maintaining guest service standards, and ensuring team members perform those standards to achieve a favorable gaming experience. This role manages the overall performance of the security and transportation departments to ensure the protection and safety of team members, guests, and casino assets. The Shift Manager also guides other departments in planning, recommending, and implementing security programs, and develops and implements procedures for denying entry to the gaming floor to underage, intoxicated, or disassociated persons. Additionally, this role develops and manages the departmental budget, monitors staffing levels for budgetary compliance, completes government reporting, and manages escalated guest service issues appropriately. A key aspect of this role involves understanding guest alcohol limitations and company policies regarding these limitations, and communicating pertinent information to senior staff, surveillance, or other necessary team members. Responsibilities also include interviewing, hiring, training, planning, assigning, directing work, appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining team members, addressing complaints, and resolving problems. The position requires meeting attendance guidelines and adhering to departmental and company policies, ensuring guest satisfaction, following lawful directions, upholding confidentiality, and interacting positively with others to influence team member morale. The role requires a flexible schedule, including late nights, weekends, and holidays, with potential for shift changes.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure consistent high-quality service to all team members and guests.
