About The Position

The Shift Lead supports restaurant management and guides team members in delivering friendly, thoughtful service in a clean, engaging environment. New Shift Leads are first trained as team members during a trial period and take on full lead responsibilities after learning all duties. This is a part-time, in-person role paying $20–$22 per hour, depending on experience, plus tips.

Prior experience in a restaurant or customer service setting is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

Engage with guests to ensure service excellence and embody the core values of Shine, Compassion, and Drive.
Assist with daily food preparation and service.
Prep according to par levels and follow cleaning and prep checklists.
Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the restaurant.
Complete shift administration tasks.
Ensure compliance with health department regulations regarding cleanliness and food safety.
Oversee team break schedules.
Conduct regular inventory checks to keep the restaurant fully stocked.
Communicate with the back-of-house team to ensure timely food preparation.
Perform taste tests to maintain quality standards.
Address guest concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction.
