About The Position
Partners Coffee is seeking a full-time Shift Lead for its West Village cafe. The role suits someone passionate about coffee and hospitality who enjoys a busy cafe and is committed to providing guests with a great coffee experience. The position includes customer service, preparing beverages to company standards, learning the coffee offerings, leading shifts through delegation and deployment, and helping maintain the cafe. Full-time work is defined as 30 or more hours per week, with a mix of six- and eight-hour shifts. Team members must be available at least one weekend day; the posting specifies availability at a minimum on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. Pay is $18.50–$20 per hour depending on experience, and the role also earns tips.
Requirements
- NYC Food Handlers card.
- Ability to work on your feet for 8 or more hours.
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
- Ability to climb stairs and ladders.
- Ability to hear audible cues and taste coffee.
- Ability to perform repetitive physical movements of the hands and wrists throughout the day.
- Availability at a minimum on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday.
- Availability to work at least one day on the weekend.
