Requirements
- Minimum 15 years’ experience as a Sheet Metal Mechanic in aerospace or light industrial settings
- Mastery in blueprint reading and structural assembly techniques
- Proficient in riveting, drilling, reaming, and countersinking
- Strong use of precision measuring tools
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to work flexible shifts as assigned
Nice To Haves
- F16 aircraft structure assembly experience
- Previous work in a high-volume aerospace production environment
- Experience with advanced fastener installation
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting ability
Responsibilities
- Interpret technical blueprints and fastener layouts with precision and accuracy
- Fabricate, assemble, install, and repair sheet metal and structural assemblies for F16 aircraft
- Conduct hands-on production build-up of fuselage components using precision measuring equipment
- Perform advanced drilling, reaming, riveting, countersinking, and part trimming
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and quality standards
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues
- Adapt quickly to varying shifts, with initial training on 1st shift followed by placement on 1st, 2nd, or weekend shifts
