About The Position

NorthStar Services seeks a Shared Living Provider to share their home with a participant with intellectual and developmental disabilities and provide support and services. Providers are private contractors serving Northeast Nebraska and surrounding areas. NorthStar matches providers with participants and supports both parties through training, oversight, administrative assistance, and access to nursing and emergency assistance.

Responsibilities

• Share the provider’s home with a participant.
• Provide and document habilitation services, medication administration, medical care, and medical appointments.
• Support and assist with community involvement, healthy or therapeutic meals, personal care, transportation, finances, phone and communication, leisure activities, interpersonal relationships, family roles, reciprocity activities, and establishing or maintaining a daily routine.
• Provide and support a safe, healthy, and supportive living environment.
