About The Position

J. Blanton Plumbing is seeking high-performing HVAC Comfort Consultants, Advisors, and In-Home Sales Professionals to join our rapidly growing Sewer Sales Division. This role offers a stable, year-round, high-ticket sales environment for individuals who thrive in consultative, in-home sales and are motivated by consistent lead flow and uncapped earning potential. Unlike seasonal HVAC sales, sewer sales provide consistent demand throughout the year, creating predictable opportunities and a strong earning rhythm for our sales consultants. We have a proven transition and training program that converts HVAC consultants into sewer sales professionals in 4-5 weeks. Our company boasts a strong brand reputation with excellent customer reviews and high close rates.

Requirements

• 5+ years of sales experience, preferably in outside or in-home sales
• Proven experience selling directly to customers face-to-face
• Experience working with high-ticket products or services
• Experience being the first salesperson in the home
• Experience closing customers during the initial appointment
• Strong communication, presentation, and objection-handling skills
• Comfortable working in a 100% commission-based sales environment
• Ability to build rapport quickly and establish trust with homeowners
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Ability to pass a background check
• Ability to carry approximately 40 lbs. up and down stairs
• Willingness to learn the technical side of sewer systems and residential plumbing
• 3+ years of HVAC or in-home residential sales
• Proven success in consultative, face-to-face sales environments
• Experience presenting options (good / better / best)
• Strong communication, professionalism, and closing ability
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to customer homes
