About The Position

As a Set-Up Technician, you will help keep production equipment running smoothly by assembling, disassembling, and maintaining machines for each job. You will support line setup, troubleshoot issues, and work closely with operators and maintenance teams to ensure safe, efficient production. The role requires mechanical knowledge and attention to detail to help deliver products consistently.

The position operates Sunday through Thursday on the third shift, from 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM. New employees complete a structured 4–5-day onboarding program during their first week, typically scheduled from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Third-shift employees receive an additional $3.00 per hour shift differential. Pay is $22.00 per hour, and the role is eligible for bonuses. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1–3 years of mechanical or machine operator experience.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and move throughout the shift.
• Comfortable working around powders, chemicals, and food allergens.
• Flexible to work overtime based on business needs.
• Comfortable using computers or tablets.
• Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Able to read, write, and understand English.
• Team-oriented and dependable.
• Organized and attentive to detail.
• Able to adapt to changing tasks and environments.

Nice To Haves

• Mechanical or electrical trade background, or technical school experience.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, disassemble, clean, and maintain production equipment.
• Set up and operate manufacturing and packaging machines.
• Make adjustments and minor repairs to support productivity.
• Troubleshoot setup issues and minimize downtime.
• Monitor and optimize production lines during runs.
• Match labels with batch records and verify accuracy.
• Maintain an inventory of tools and parts.
• Assist operators and maintenance technicians as needed.
• Create or update machine centerline procedures.
• Follow safety rules, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and company policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
