Set-Up Technician
About The Position
Plasman is a leading global automotive and manufacturing company with several locations across North America and Europe. The Set-Up Technician will set-up molds and maintain related equipment of all jobs to maintain daily production requirements at Plasman. The responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to: Mold set-up and maintain mold storage area, Operate overhead cranes in a safe manner, Set-up end of arm tooling on robots, Ensure proper set-up as set out by the Production Supervisor/Lead Process Technician/Process Technician, Ensure equipment is in good mechanical condition to provide safe operation, Comply with established rules, procedures and health and safety mandates.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years experience working with molding presses
- Excellent working knowledge of molds
- The ability to communicate effectively (written and verbal)
- The ability to be trained for the above-mentioned responsibilities
