About The Position

Sets up as required to meet schedules and customer commitments. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Takes training from Senior Setup personnel and Process Technicians to enhance knowledge and experience in all aspects of the production floor. Performs setups and other production related duties to maintain production schedules and on time delivery of parts to customers. Works on all presses as production requirements dictate. Keeps work area cleaned and maintained. This job description indicates the general nature and level of work, duties and responsibilities expected of the incumbent. The incumbent may be asked to perform other duties as required. The job description may be changed if needed as determined by the Company.

Requirements

• Mechanical aptitude and ability to learn and practice correct molding and setup methods.
• Good attitude towards learning new jobs and procedures and work towards minimal supervision needed to accomplish daily duties.
• Capable of interfacing with team members as needed and direct as required by production schedules.
• Ability to monitor machine sounds to identify and diagnose changes to take appropriate action.
• 0-2 years of set up experience REQUIRED.
• High School Diploma or G.E.D. preferred.
• Must complete all levels of Paulson Training
• Available to training in new equipment and machinery as they are procured.
• Keeping education and background up to current industry standards through willingness to attend seminars, read periodicals and seek advanced education.
