About The Position

This role is responsible for setting up and/or programming machines for production and assembly, ensuring process release. The technician will implement continuous improvement processes, set up operating machines, check accuracy and effectiveness in test sequences, and oversee the ramp-up of machines after setup. They will also support operators, cooperate with maintenance staff, check finished products, and monitor machine performance.

Requirements

• Vocationally trained in Electronics, Mechanics
• 3 to 5 years of experience
• Ability to use instruments for measuring and to identify defects
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English
• Ability to operate basic machinery in a manufacturing environment
• Good visual acuity
• Ability to lift medium-heavy objects if required
• Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without employment visa or other sponsorship
• This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Responsibilities

• Set up and/or program machines for production and assembly as assigned, assure and support process release.
• Implement continuous improvement processes.
• Set up the operating machine and check accuracy and effectiveness in test sequences.
• Oversee ramp up of machines after setup procedure.
• Support Operators in operating the machines, and cooperate with maintenance staff, if necessary.
• Check finished product/product component and submit for approval.
• Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as needed.
