About The Position

This position ensures jobs are set up safely and efficiently based on priority listing in effort to meet our customer’s needs.

Requirements

• 6 months demonstrated knowledge of manufacturing processes.
• Successful completion of Operator 2 (Internal ORBIS Employee)
• Less than 3 attendance points (Internal ORBIS Employee)
• No disciplinary actions above Verbal Warning (Internal ORBIS Employee)
• Remain in position for a minimum of 180 days (Internal ORBIS Employee)

Nice To Haves

• 1-2 years demonstrated knowledge of manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Work in a safe and efficient manner using all personal protective equipment, safety equipment and devices that are required, in accordance with all STW documentation (if STW is not developed for any process within this job, proper training techniques must be followed).
• Set up and tear down cell safely and efficiently.
• Assembles 1st piece article for inspection.
• Trouble shoot issues discovered during 1st piece assembly.
• Stock cell to appropriate levels.
• Initiates, recommends and/or provides solutions to address issues via the appropriate channels.
• Follows all process requirements to include policies, guidelines, work instructions and paperwork.
• Performs daily 5S cleaning.
• Be actively involved in Continuous Improvement; promote and sustain any and all CI, 5S, Safety and STW activities.
• Other duties as assigned.
