About The Position

The Department of Mathematics and Statistics invites applications for Sessional Lecturers to teach specific courses during the 2026-2027 Regular Session. The courses include Calculus 1 (Mathematics 110), Mathematics for the Life Sciences (Mathematics 125), and Introduction to Linear Algebra (Math 164). These positions are for Term 1 (September to December) and Term 2 (January to April). A valid driver’s license is required for any off-campus courses. Appointment periods include additional days for preparation and marking time. Courses may be cancelled due to low enrollment.

Requirements

  • Completion of a graduate degree, PhD preferred, in Mathematics & Statistics or related discipline.
  • Possession of relevant teaching or professional experience.
  • A valid driver’s license is required for any off-campus courses.

Responsibilities

  • Teach Mathematics 110 (27) Calculus 1 during Term 1 (September to December).
  • Teach Mathematics 125 (01) Mathematics for the Life Sciences during Term 1 (September to December).
  • Teach Math 164 (02) Introduction to Linear Algebra during Term 2 (January to April).
