This course explores digital fabrication as a means of architectural design and production. Students will investigate the relationships between computational design, material systems, fabrication processes, and assembly, using digital tools to develop and produce architectural prototypes and artifacts. Through a combination of design experimentation, digital modeling, and hands-on fabrication, the course examines how fabrication technologies can inform architectural form, material expression, and construction. Emphasis is placed on iterative making, material research, and the translation of digital processes into physical outcomes.
