About The Position

The Department of Educational Foundations is seeking Sessional Lecturers to teach various courses during the 2026-2027 Regular Session, specifically in Term One (September to December). These positions involve delivering lectures for courses such as Introduction to Education, Education Identity in Contexts Anti Oppressive and Ethical Beginnings, and Pedagogies of Place Context Based Learning. The courses will be offered in different sections with varying schedules and enrollment limits, located in Saskatoon and Prince Albert. A valid driver's license is required for off-campus courses. Appointment periods include additional days for preparation and marking. Courses are subject to cancellation due to low enrollment.

Requirements

  • A M.Ed. degree (or equivalent graduate degree) and relevant teaching or professional experience, or significant progress on a M.Ed. degree or equivalent.
  • A valid driver's license is required for any off-campus courses.

Responsibilities

  • Teach assigned courses as a Sessional Lecturer.
  • Deliver lectures according to the specified course schedule.
  • Prepare course materials and content.
  • Mark student assignments and exams.
  • Provide instruction for courses such as EFDT 101, EFDT 301, and EFDT 313.
