About The Position

This lecture course focuses on the social psychology of interpersonal relationships between individuals, especially romantic or close relationships and friendships. It surveys what social psychologists have learned about the development, maintenance, disruption or dissolution of personal relationships, as well as current social psychological theories of interpersonal relationships. The estimated TA support is 90 hours and the estimated course enrollment is 50 students. The class schedule is In-Person, Thursdays 2 - 5 p.m. The delivery method for this course is currently in-person, but may change as determined by the Faculty or the Department. The sessional dates of appointment are September 1, 2026 – December 31, 2026.

Requirements

• Completion of PhD studies in Social Psychology
• Demonstrated scholarship in the area of the social psychology of relationships
• Past experience and demonstrated excellence TAing and/or teaching courses in social psychology
