About The Position

This position is for a Sessional Lecturer for the course PSY322H1F (LEC0101) – Intergroup Relations. The course provides an in-depth examination of theories and research in intergroup relations, focusing on stereotyping, prejudice, discrimination, and stigma. The course is scheduled to be delivered in-person on Tuesdays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. The delivery method may change based on faculty or department decisions. The sessional dates of appointment are from September 1, 2026, to December 31, 2026. The estimated TA support is 108 hours for an estimated course enrollment of 60 students.

Requirements

• Completion of PhD studies in Social Psychology
• Demonstrated scholarship in the area of intergroup relations
• Past experience and demonstrated excellence TAing and/or teaching courses in social psychology and intergroup relations

Nice To Haves

• Experience in teaching social psychology and intergroup relations courses at the University of Toronto’s St. George Campus
