About The Position

The Services Team Leader coordinates and supports a team delivering catering, cleaning, linen and laundry services for patients, residents and staff. The role provides day-to-day leadership, allocates work, manages rostering, supports staff development and maintains safe, efficient, high-quality service delivery. The team leader may also undertake cook duties when needed. This is a full-time ongoing contract role with the Yorke and Northern Local Health Network in Jamestown. The advertised salary is WHD7 - $1,479.09 to $1,497.82 per week, plus superannuation and applicable loadings. Salary sacrifice benefits are available.

Requirements

Trade qualifications or equivalent skills as a Cook.
Experience leading catering and support service teams.
Experience across catering, cleaning, linen and laundry services.
Strong rostering, organisational and work prioritisation skills.
Experience providing staff guidance, training and safe work practices.
Confidence using Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds.
Ability to exercise sound judgement, initiative and problem-solving in a busy environment.
Appointment is subject to a satisfactory Criminal History Check and applicable immunisation requirements, including a DHS National Disability Insurance Scheme Worker Check and a National Police Certificate for employment involving unsupervised contact with vulnerable groups.
