Services Analytics Graduate Intern
About The Position
Join Dell Technologies Services as a Graduate Analytics Intern on the Services team in Round Rock, Texas. Dell Technologies Services provides support and extended warranty services, managed deployment, enterprise installation, and configuration services for enterprise and client customers. Its teams span global operations, customer service, supply chain, professional services, marketing and sales operations, finance, and engineering. The intern will analyze a business problem, develop insights and recommendations for resolving it, and may build KPIs and dashboards. The role focuses on uncovering opportunities across operations, sales growth, and dispatch effectiveness, identifying trends and patterns in data, and communicating findings to business leaders. The intern will gather and examine data from multiple internal and external sources and independently drive assigned work through to completion.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in an accredited graduate program in Data Science, Statistics, or Business Analytics.
- Proficient in data mining.
- Advanced skills in Excel, SQL, and Power BI.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to deal with ambiguity.
- Knowledge of or experience using Statistica, SAS, R, SPSS, Hadoop, Teradata, Python, Tableau, Business Objects, or C++.

Responsibilities
- Create analyses to uncover opportunities to improve operations, sales growth, and dispatch effectiveness.
- Identify and interpret trends and patterns in datasets to predict outcomes.
- Communicate findings, insights, and recommendations effectively to business leaders.
- Partner with internal and external sources to gather and examine data from disparate sources and discover hidden insights.
- Independently drive tasks to completion, understand the data and end goals, and provide insights beyond customer expectations.
- Analyze a business problem and provide insights on how to resolve it; the project may also involve building KPIs and dashboards.
