About The Position

Land Rover Chandler, a Penske Automotive Group dealership, is hiring Service Valets, also called Porters or Lot Attendants. Valets support dealership operations by moving vehicles as needed and keeping the showroom and display lots neat and orderly. The position provides an opportunity to gain experience and learn how an automotive dealership operates in state-of-the-art facilities. The role requires safely driving vehicles with automatic and manual transmissions and may involve working both in a covered area and outdoors. Standard business hours apply, with the ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required. Applicants typically go through a phone interview, in-person interviews, a background check, reference check, driving record review, and drug screen.

Requirements

Ability to safely drive vehicles with both automatic and manual transmissions.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Ability to perform basic math.
Ability to understand and follow work rules and procedures.
Ability to apply common-sense understanding to instructions provided in written, oral, or diagram form.
Ability to work independently and complete assignments within given instructions and standard practices.
Ability to interact well with others and work effectively in a team and with a diverse group of people.
Exceptional attention to detail.
Valid driver's license. Individuals under age 18 may not drive vehicles off dealership premises.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent.
Six months or more of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities
