About The Position

The Service Valet transports dealership customers to and from their destinations, assists passengers as they get in and out of the shuttle, and keeps shuttle routes timely and safe. The role also involves monitoring shuttle vehicle maintenance and fuel, running dealership errands as directed, communicating service disruptions, and maintaining trip records. The position requires excellent driving skills, a clean driving record, professional customer service, and a positive, professional approach.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Excellent driving skills and a clean Motor Vehicle Record.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Consistent record of achieving or over-achieving goals.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Professional appearance and work ethic.
• Positive outlook and high-energy personality.

Responsibilities

• Transport customers to and from their destinations professionally and safely.
• Assist passengers in and out of the shuttle and keep shuttle routes timely without delays.
• Monitor shuttle vehicle maintenance and fuel.
• Run errands for the dealership as directed.
• Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
• Use good judgment and safe driving skills, and comply with traffic regulations.
• Operate a radio or similar device to communicate with the dealership or other vehicles about service disruptions, in accordance with traffic regulations.
• Maintain trip records, including passenger names and destinations or pick-up points.
• Notify the service manager when the shuttle needs servicing, such as oil changes, tires, cleaning, or general maintenance.
