About The Position

The Service Technician provides field service and customer support for home renovation projects. The role diagnoses technical issues, determines solutions, performs repairs and installations across showers, tubs, plumbing, windows, trim, drywall, siding, and shingles, and completes related finishing work. The technician also collects balances due, follows company procedures and protocols, and produces timely, detailed service reports.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of experience in the remodeling industry.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving history.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow safety procedures.
• Ability to grasp complex concepts easily.
• Meet quality-of-work standards.
• Excellent planning, negotiating, and organizing skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide service and customer support during field visits.
• Diagnose errors or technical problems and determine appropriate solutions.
• Repair showers and tubs.
• Fix plumbing leaks.
• Wrap windows.
• Paint and stain.
• Install shower doors.
• Replace window sashes.
• Replace interior trim work.
• Tape and mud sheetrock.
• Patch drywall.
• Install siding and shingles.
• Perform general caulking and cleaning.
• Collect any balance due.
• Follow all company field procedures and protocols.
• Produce timely and detailed service reports.
