Position Summary: A HVAC Service Technician is responsible for setting up, repairing, diagnosis, trouble shooting and the maintenance of the heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems for an organization or its customers. The company provides opportunities for continual training and gaining additional experience in the industry. Qualifications/Duties/Responsibilities: Servicing and repairing all types of HVAC equipment Reading blueprints in order to diagnosis, troubleshoot, analyze and locate the malfunction on the HVAC Unit Replace defective or worn parts and then make any necessary adjustments Install HVAC equipment when needed Meet quarterly goals On Call rotation

Requirements

Minimum (2) years of service experience in the HVAC industry
CFC/EPA Certificate required
Good driving record, with no more than 2 points on your license
Good communication skills used for both the customer and co-workers
Self-motivated and be able to work under minimal supervision
Willing to cross train others
Must be flexible with work hours, will be responsible to be part of an On Call rotation

Nice To Haves

NATE Certified is preferred
Must be a team member exhibiting a positive attitude and work ethic

Responsibilities

Servicing and repairing all types of HVAC equipment
Reading blueprints in order to diagnosis, troubleshoot, analyze and locate the malfunction on the HVAC Unit
Replace defective or worn parts and then make any necessary adjustments
Install HVAC equipment when needed
Meet quarterly goals
On Call rotation
Provide suggestions for increased energy efficiency and setting controls to determine that a system is working properly
Install and / or assist in the installation of HVAC equipment when needed
Responsible for meeting the customer’s needs and providing excellent positive customer service
