About The Position

Bish’s RV is seeking a motivated, hands-on entry-level Service Technician to join its service team. The technician assists with diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing recreational vehicles, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and mechanical systems, while working under the guidance of experienced technicians and service managers. The position offers on-the-job training in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. The role contributes to a dependable, high-performing service team by meeting service timelines, developing technical knowledge of RV systems, tools, diagnostics, and repairs, and supporting customer satisfaction through quality work, timely service, and a helpful attitude. The technician is expected to build repair speed and accuracy, grow technical and customer-service skills, and progress through Bish’s RV TEC program toward certifications and additional skills. Requirements

Strong mechanical aptitude and eagerness to learn.
Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools.
Ability to follow instructions and work well in a team.
Positive attitude, reliability, and commitment to quality work.
Must have a set of personal tools.
Ability to stand, stoop, crawl, and bend for long periods.
Ability to lift 25 to 50 pounds with an assistive device.
Ability to work in environments with heat, cold, dust, and loud noises.
Flexibility with work schedules, including Saturdays; the company is closed on Sundays.
Neat, clean, and professional appearance.
Ability to pass a background check and drug test.

Responsibilities

Inspect units for customer sales.
Learn and execute a Get Ready and customer orientation.
Assist with inspections, diagnostics, and repairs of RV electrical, plumbing, propane, HVAC, and carpentry systems.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Help install accessories and aftermarket parts.
Document completed work accurately and assist with service records.
Follow safety standards and company procedures when working with power tools and hazardous materials.
Communicate repair progress and issues clearly to team members and supervisors.
Attend training sessions and stay updated on RV systems and service practices.
Meet service timelines and contribute to customer satisfaction and service department efficiency.
Progress through the Bish’s RV TEC program and obtain certifications and skills.
