About The Position

DISHER is partnering with a medium-sized technology company that develops mobile transport robots for industrial material handling. The Service Technician helps build custom logistic and production processes and services robotic systems at customer sites and elsewhere. The role works independently and collaboratively in a relaxed, informal environment with opportunities for professional growth and advancement. The company is based in Germany, has locations across Europe, and is expanding its U.S. branch.

Requirements

• Proficiency with Windows and Windows applications, including Office 365.
• Basic network troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to learn and adapt to new software environments.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license for travel outside the home state.
• Must pass a drug screening.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with electronics, automated systems, and AGVs.
• Certification in robotics or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Repair and service electronic and mechanical robotic systems onsite and offsite.
• Assemble and electrically commission driverless transport systems and picking systems.
• Provide temporary shift support after commissioning at customer sites.
• Analyze and correct errors and malfunctions in automated systems.
• Communicate repair needs to project managers and after-sales teams.
• Read and interpret schematics and technical manuals.
• Conduct preventive maintenance on robotic systems.
• Train end-users in the operation and maintenance of robotic systems.
