About The Position

The Service Technician performs service and warranty work on Stanek Windows and Patio Enclosures products. Technicians typically complete 4–8 service calls per day. The role includes preparing and loading materials, maintaining the cleanliness and order of the truck and work areas, driving a company vehicle, and developing skills in customer contact and service work.

Requirements

• At least five years of related and transferable experience in carpentry, roofing, siding, gutters, windows, doors, and/or sunrooms.
• Ability to use various hand and power tools.
• Ability to read a tape measure.
• Ability to perform simple mathematics.

Responsibilities

• Locate and load all materials onto the truck.
• Maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the truck, truck bed, truck boxes, job site, and shop area.
• Load and unload jobs each day.
• Acquire and improve skills in customer contact, job criteria, layout, cutting and improvising, and measuring.
• Drive a company vehicle.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Meet performance expectations, including achieving a post-installation customer service survey top score of 90% or better, obtaining online reviews for 30% of serviced jobs, offering products for add-on sales at the time of service, and keeping job labor budgets within company guidelines.
