Carpenter (Measure Technician)
About The Position
Champion Window is seeking a Carpenter / Measure Technician to measure customers’ homes accurately for installations and complete service jobs to ensure customer satisfaction. The role includes measuring for products, repairing windows, siding, and sunrooms, and ordering and tracking repair and installation services. The technician also interacts with homeowners about their home-improvement needs and may assist management with reporting and communication. All work must be performed safely and in compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws. This is a full-time W-2 position. Champion Window provides a truck, tools, and gas card.
Requirements
- Three to five years of experience in home improvement or construction involving carpentry, roofing, and window installation.
- Experience using a brake and hand tools such as a utility knife, hammer, and deglazing tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Math skills, including using a tape measure and measuring angles.
- Clean driving record and valid driver’s license.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Construction trade school experience is a plus.
