About The Position
General Parts Group is hiring experienced commercial kitchen equipment technicians in the Madison, Wisconsin area. Service Technicians work independently in the field to service and repair restaurant equipment at customer locations, including restaurants, hospitals, schools, and commercial kitchens. The role may focus on commercial cooking equipment, commercial refrigeration, or both. Refrigeration technicians must have EPA certification. The company provides a vehicle and offers experienced candidates a sign-on bonus of up to $3,000. Hourly rates start at $25.00 and may reach $45.00, depending on experience.
Requirements
- Experience working on commercial kitchen equipment.
- Valid driver's license.
- EPA certification is required for refrigeration technicians.
- Ability to work independently in the field.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with commercial cooking equipment, commercial refrigeration, or both.
- CFESA training certifications.
Responsibilities
- Service and repair restaurant and commercial kitchen equipment at customer locations.
- Work on commercial cooking equipment such as fryers, ovens, and grills.
- Work on commercial refrigeration equipment such as walk-ins, ice machines, and reach-ins.
