About The Position

General Parts is hiring a Field Service Technician to repair and maintain commercial kitchen equipment at schools, healthcare facilities, and restaurants throughout the technician’s area. The role involves troubleshooting and servicing commercial cooking, refrigeration, and HVAC equipment, with solutions for gas, electric, and steam systems. Technicians order and install replacement parts and participate in after-hours and weekend on-call rotations.

Pay is $20–$45 per hour based on experience, with growth opportunities. Experienced candidates may be eligible for a sign-on bonus of up to $6,000. The company provides a service vehicle dispatched from home, tools and equipment, ongoing training, and career advancement opportunities, including CFESA certification.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license and a driving record that meets the company’s safety standards.
• Successful completion of a criminal background check and drug screen.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Nice To Haves

• Two or more years of related experience, education, or military training.
• EPA certification for refrigeration technicians.
