About The Position
General Parts Group is hiring experienced commercial kitchen equipment technicians in the Milwaukee area. Service Technicians service, repair, and maintain restaurant and other commercial foodservice equipment at customer locations, including restaurants, hospitals, schools, and commercial kitchens. Work may focus on commercial cooking equipment, commercial refrigeration, or both. Technicians work independently in the field and are supported by a company vehicle and steady commercial service work. General Parts Group supports technicians in pursuing CFESA training certifications, including Master Certification. The company has more than 80 years of experience and a field service force of over 200 technicians supporting customers in 26 states.
Requirements
- Experience working on commercial kitchen equipment.
- Valid driver’s license.
- EPA certification is required for refrigeration technicians.
- Ability to work independently in the field.
Nice To Haves
- CFESA training certifications; many technicians hold the Master Certification designation.
Responsibilities
- Service and repair commercial restaurant equipment at customer locations.
- Work on commercial cooking equipment such as fryers, ovens, and grills, and/or commercial refrigeration equipment such as walk-ins, ice machines, and reach-ins.
- Provide service, repair, and maintenance for foodservice equipment.
