About The Position

Berger Communities is hiring a Service Technician to maintain Vairo Village and Pennwood Apartments in State College, Pennsylvania. The role helps keep the apartment community operating smoothly and supports a welcoming resident experience through repairs, preventive maintenance, inspections, and upkeep of homes, buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas. The position is full-time, with regular hours from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday. It also participates in an on-call rotation one day per week and every fifth weekend.

Responsibilities

Handle service requests and repairs in apartments and buildings.
Prepare vacant apartments for move-in.
Maintain grounds, amenities, and common areas.
Perform preventive maintenance and inspections.
Assist with snow removal.
Participate in on-call shifts.
Provide residents with friendly, professional service.
