About The Position

This is a full-time Service Technician role focused on high-end residential Audio/Visual (AV), Control, and Network systems. The ideal candidate is hands-on, technically inclined, and enjoys working in the field. Responsibilities include servicing various home systems, troubleshooting, programming, and providing excellent customer service. The role involves working with advanced systems from brands like Crestron, Savant, Control4, Josh.Ai, and Lutron.

Requirements

• Experience on construction sites, AV, Control, and Networks
• Ability to climb ladders
• Ability to pull cabling
• Ability to use power tools & hand tools
• Ability to lift 50 lbs
• A steady work history (3yrs between hops)
• A pleasant disposition
• High EQ
• Valid Driver's License with a Clean record

Nice To Haves

• Experience in AV Installation/Service (Residential & Commercial)
• Experience in Security Installation/Service
• Experience in Low-Voltage Cable Pulling
• Experience in Managed Services (MSP) with Hands-On Experience

Responsibilities

• Servicing residential A/V, Home Theater, Network, Control, Lighting, Shading, & Security Systems
• Read and interpret floor plans and technical documents
• Understanding of wiring and signal flow
• Troubleshooting Systems (Crestron, Savant, Control4 (C4), Josh.Ai, Lutron QSX)
• Advanced understanding of networking
• Advanced troubleshooting of devices
• Control System Programming
• Train clients on use of systems
• Recommend upgrades when necessary
• Provide excellent customer service
