About The Position

The Senior AV Service Technician travels to customer sites to provide scheduled maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair services for integrated AV systems. The role diagnoses and resolves technical issues, supports and trains clients in operating AV equipment, and performs routine maintenance and inspections to help ensure system performance and reliability. The technician also documents service procedures and activities and collaborates with teammates to meet project deadlines and deliver high-quality customer service.

Requirements

• Previous experience in the service or installation of AV systems.
• Strong technical aptitude and ability to learn new technologies and basic troubleshooting techniques.
• Ability to load and modify code and DSP files, including Crestron, BIAMP, and Q-SYS.
• Ability to work independently, be self-directed, and make sound decisions based on customer satisfaction.
• Excellent communication skills and a customer-service-oriented approach.
• Ability and willingness to travel to customer sites.

Nice To Haves

• CTS certification is preferred, but not required with the right experience.
• Other industry-related certifications or training are a plus, such as Crestron, Extron, Biamp, QSC, or Shure.
