About The Position
SAV Eyehear is seeking a Service Technician to service residential A/V, Home Theater, Network, Control, Lighting, Shading, & Security Systems. This role involves reading and interpreting floor plans and technical documents, understanding wiring and signal flow, and troubleshooting various systems. The ideal candidate is hands-on, technically inclined, and enjoys working in the field. You will also be responsible for training clients on system usage, recommending upgrades, and providing excellent customer service.
Requirements
- Experience on construction sites, AV, Lighting, Shading, Control, and Networks
- Ability to climb ladders
- Ability to use power tools & hand tools
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Steady work history (3yrs between hops)
- Pleasant disposition
- High EQ
- Valid Driver's License
- Clean driving record
- Reliable transportation

Responsibilities
- Servicing residential A/V, Home Theater, Network, Control, Lighting, Shading, & Security Systems
- Read and interpret floor plans and technical documents
- Understand wiring and signal flow
- Troubleshoot Systems (Crestron, Savant, Control4 (C4), Josh.Ai, Lutron QSX)
- Advanced understanding of networking
- Advanced troubleshooting of devices
- Train clients on use of systems
- Recommend upgrades when necessary
- Provide excellent customer service
