About The Position
Simply AV is seeking a Low-Voltage Install Tech & Programmer who is trustworthy, eager to learn and grow, and enjoys hands-on work in the field. The ideal candidate is technically inclined, has experience on construction sites, can use various tools, and possesses a steady work history with high emotional intelligence. This is a full-time position with a consistent 40-hour work week, Monday through Thursday, from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm. The role involves installing and configuring high-end residential AV, lighting, shading, and control systems.
Requirements
- Experience on construction sites
- Ability to climb ladders, pull cabling, use power tools & hand tools
- A steady work history (3yrs between hops)
- Pleasant disposition
- High EQ
- Programming is required (Not Optional)
Responsibilities
- Pull/Terminate/Test Low-Voltage Cabling (Category, Fiber, Speaker, Lutron, Crestron)
- Mount devices at the ends of those wires
- Build and lace equipment racks
- Advanced setup and configuration of devices
- Advanced understanding of networks
- Advanced troubleshooting of devices
- Programming (Lutron/C4/Elan/Savant/Crestron)
